There are some simple rules to getting the most out of your cell phone battery. These rules are for short term battery life, meaning how long your battery will hold up during the week. These rules may or may not affect how many years your battery will stay operable.
1. Bluetooth. It's a battery drainer! If you don't need it on, then you should probably turn it off.
2. Vibrate. Anytime you use your battery for a mechanical response, you will surely drain your phone's battery. So try to keep your cell phone off vibrate as much as possible.
3. Brightness. Keep your screen's brightnesss as low as possible and you'll save a lot of battery life.
4. Run only necessary applications. If you have the ability to turn off programs and applications on your phone, turn off the ones you don't use.
5. Playing Games. Games use more battery power than you think - playing them will drain your battery faster.
6. Turn it off! If you are able to keep your cell phone off, then you can get an extra day or two out of your battery.
